Salé, our home for the last two years, was a previous haven for Barbary pirates! Its complex history is as colorful as its tile. I enjoyed reminiscing today! Viewing Rabat across the river Bouregreg. (Once our kids kayaked up this river!)
Chefchaouen, Morocco is one of my favorite cities. The colors, the mountains, and the mystique won’t fade quickly from my memory.
Fes is Morocco’s religious and cultural centre, boasting of the world’s first university and leather tanneries. (The tanneries are stinky, so they give complementary mint to sniff.)
