I want to share my life here with you. I am like rice couscous in Morocco–included but foreign. Couscous is wheat so rice couscous is rare. My daughter has celiac disease so we need the rice couscous. In a society that loves bread, we eat rice. In an Islamic culture, we are Christian. Where children here begin school at age 3, our older kids are homeschooled. I belong but then I don’t. Rice couscous. Join me!
My husband and I and our 5 children have lived in Morocco since 2006. He works for an NGO and we are able to see real life here, not just the tourist traps.
