A favorite snack

I’ve said it before…I love Moroccan olives.  These are my new neighborhood favorites marinated in garlic, lemon, and herbs.  Pictured is 1/4 of a kilo priced at about 60 US cents.  I confess I ate them all in one day.  No regrets.

  1. Alicia when I visited Kristine in Senegal green olives in a mustard sauce and fresh peanuts were a delicious snack!

  2. Yum! The olives look delicious. Did you marinate them yourself, or did you buy them already marinated? When we visited my sister in Spain a few years ago, we were fascinated at how the olives were collected from the trees. We also enjoyed several bowls of fresh, marinated olives. My daughter couldn’t stop eating them. I can certainly understand how easily you ate the whole bowl! No regrets!

    1. Good to hear from you, Linda! I didn’t marinate these myself–I bought them all ready to eat. The shop that I bought them also offers one that’s in a spicy sauce. Yummy!
